The World Affairs Councils of America is the largest non-profit international affairs organization in the world. Our local Council is growing and to succeed...we need you!

Our desert Council is comprised of almost 500 members who offer opportunities for friendship with like-minded people and conversations related to current events and issues. You will also enjoy networking discussion with individuals with similar backgrounds and interests, the annual lectures, special events, and periodic Newsletters .

Our members are very important to our Council. It is through member support that we are able to present our Speaker Programs, and fund our educational outreach programs.

Membership dues and educational donations make these Programs possible.

All members enjoy reduced pricing for Speaker/Dinner Programs and your support is important to help fund our education programs. Member dinner pricing is $47 per person, and Non-Member guests’ dinner pricing is $55 per person. At the beginning of each season (September) Members are offered additional dinner discounts: Life and Patron Members, $40 per person; Couples and Individuals, $43 per person. Members are able to purchase from 4 to 20 tickets at this reduced rate and can use these dinner tickets throughout the season.
