Knowledgable speaker. Would have preferred to have had video. Some technical issues. Enjoyed it.

Thanks for your comments. I agree on the visual, and we are moving to the visual model with our next program.

Thank you for hosting this event today. Jeb Hensarling certainly has the credentials after serving in Congress for 16 years. It was extremely informative and certainly timely. He brought up a lot of good points and it gave us a lot to think about during this election year.

Gave us a lot to think about for sure, particularly in today's uncertain environment. I am glad you participated and enjoyed the program, Maryann.

This proved to be an informative session, with good flow, and good insights into both the economic and political ramifications of the pandemic within the US. He reinforced the belief of many that the November elections will be much tighter than expected. At least for my two questions, his responses were objective and focused, without any pivoting. Obviously, his previous political experience and insights, coupled with his present role at UBS for observation, analysis and management, has formed a mature, quick and resourceful mindset, as evidenced by Mr. Hensarling's cogent responses to all of the WACD questions.

I really appreciated the presentation by Jeb Hensarling. I found his commentary to be balanced and informative. America is fortunate to have people such as Jeb having served in public office. His presentation was so informative compared to anything one sees on the "news" programs.

Jeb Hensarling. with his carefully considered opinions, delivered cogently, clearly, showed his maturity as well as his experience. I wish more who entered public service would place his/her emphasis on the "service," to the entire public, and truth above party. We need more likeJeb, who appears to be a consensus maker, who stresses cooperation, rather than opposition.

Regarding your comment, "I would appreciate more speakers who will address the media's lack of real news reporting" - you are in luck. Our opening season speaker in October is Robin Fields, who will be addressing the media, real vs. fake news, and impact on the presidential election.

Really enjoyed Jeb's analysis...neutral and informative. Provocative subject but I feel better informed now. This pandemic & economic destruction is definitely dissimilar to 2008 and recovery will be unique.

Very thoughtful and balanced presentation and response to the questions. Thanks for another both educational and entertaining event. Agree with prior comments about video but I was surprised at how well things worked out with just audio.

Yours was one of several comments on the quality of the presentation without accompanying video. For me, I find audio-only focuses my mind more on what is being said. We will have both audio and visual presentations in the future, something for everyone.

Thanks to Rep. Jeb Hensarling of TX for his explanation of the new bi-partisan stimulus bills passed and the adjustments needed to work out the glitches. Also, his analysis as to the outcome of Nov elections was interesting, with the probability of tight races for President, House, and Senate candidates. His feeling are probably correct that the outcomes will likely depend on the status of healthcare, the economy, and jobs at the time.

WAC of the Desert was the first organization we joined after moving to the desert. Great intellectual stimulation along with fellowship. Rep Hensarling and the previous speakers have been outstanding. We appreciate the extra effort by Jim McFarlin , the Board and Linda to adjust to this difficult period to continue bringing great programs to us.
