Absolutely first rate presentation! General Chilton clearly presented the need to focus on space as a major theater of international military dominance.

Excellent speaker, especially during the discussion session. His mention of the two reasons to go to war was particularly interesting in light of the potential Russian invasion of Ukraine. Thought provoking subject area about the offense and defense of space objects that aid the military and are used in everyday life.

The best yet. General Childen was entertaining, engaging, and informative. We found the points he was making about the increased accuracy of flight based weapons very interesting.

The venue was very disappointing again.

Penny,
You are so right about the service. For others on this blog, we met again with the staff at Indian Wells CC and hopefully developed a solution to solve the issues.
Notice in this "Conservations" section that the service was okay for some....bad for others. Some liked the quality of the food...others hated it.
My opinion...didn't meet our instructions or expectations.
We will not stop until it is fixed.
STICK WITH US!

Excellent evening all around! General Chilton was informative and engaging - I could have listened to him longer and would appreciate his return visit. The venue is excellent! A short delay was not a problem for me & I was surprised there was a public comment about it. The salad, roast chicken & dessert were delicious as was the wine. The servers during reception and dinner were great - friendly and prompt with requests. Valet service very good as well.

Speaker was very informative and well present. Venue is poorly manage by the Club, food is not good and service is awful. I believe it is time for a new venue if possible. I will no longer be attending dinners but will enjoy speakers online.

Wonderful speaker! General Chilton was exceptionally informative, and he included just the right amount of humor. Standing ovation was well deserved!

While low-key, General Chilton provided the audience with a disturbing wake-up call regarding the strategic importance of our global satellite network and its current vulnerability. An exceptional and outstanding presentation.

Issues regarding the venue will not be repeated here, other than absence of any coffee service. WACD Board has a real challenge in this instance.

General Chilton's presentation was well organized and easy to absorb. He made his point about the fallible nature of our space resources so efficiently that I came away very concerned about the role of China in controlling our lives in the not-too-distant future. His is a presentation that should be heard by Americans far and wide.

I agree! Perhaps he would be a good speaker for Desert Town Hall!
