Mr. Richman is a polished , excellent speaker and for me his presentation brought clarity to many of the issues of the current war in Israel, how long Hamas had been preparing for this attack, what role Iran is playing in this war, how their nuclear capacity makes them a formidable risk for us and other countries, how the U.S.is or is not responding, and what we are doing or not doing to support Israel.

I thoroughly enjoyed the presentation of our speaker. Having spent time recently in Israel and the West Bank, I did feel that most of his remarks were slanted towards Israel. For example, he did not acknowledge the accusations that Israel is regarded by many around the world as an "occupier" in the West Bank. The many Israeli settlements throughout that area do not contribute to a Two State Solution. He never mentioned the settlements or how Israel deals with the Palestinians living nearby. He also didn't acknowledge the political shift within Israel to the Right and the problems that have arisen since Netanyahu's Likud Party came to power and control of the government.

I appreciated his remarks. Highly knowledgeable, and well presented. Although I am fairly educated on the relevant facts, I learned important new ones.

Excellent speaker. Clear, easy to follow delivery. Brought some new insights into the possible root causes of the Israel-Hamas conflict.

The combined presentation and Q&A session with Mr. Richman proved to be both sobering and insightful. In particular, the two alternative sets of rationale that may have prompted the October 7th Hamas invasion of Israel offer refreshing, if not dismaying, views of the Middle East situation. Certainly, the global strategic and tactical mis-steps on the part the current US administration does not bode well nor contribute materially to any near-term solutions there.
