Theresa Cardinal Brown gave an excellent and enlightening presentation. Her focus on the legislative and regulatory history gave us a much better understanding of the issues being faced today.

Well presented in an interesting format. The background on Immigration and our archaic federal laws dating back to 1952 was helpful in understanding why the border problem exists today.

Highly informative from statistics to legislative history. Unfortunately current bipartisan efforts to improve have been undermined by Mr. Trump’s desire to retain an election issue. No wonder it is a mess.

So true! Thanks to him and Fox News nothing will get done. It's very discouraging.

I was disappointed, as she did a simple review of what most of us already knew. Her solution, "why don't the D and Rs just get along, was lame. She didn't offer any changes in the current statutes, other than pointing out that they were passed a long time ago. She is an obvious liberal and didn't make even one mention of Biden's part in the current open boarder. All in all, not very insightful.

Theresa Brown provided facts illustrating the complexity of our immigration system, and how outdated the current laws. A great presentation

I was disappointed. It was an interesting talk, mostly about the history of our immigration laws, but she said next to nothing about a path forward for immigration reform. (Dinner was OK, but nothing special. Enjoy WAC luncheons at Classic Club better than dinner meetings at Thunderbird!)
