She was a very educated, informed and loquacious speaker who very clearly described the past, present and future status of Saudi Arabia and its sole leader, MBS. Ms. House is truly an expert on this country and defined in great detail the challenges that face countries that currently deal with MBS, as well as his focus on making his kingdom a world class economy. He seems to be a calculating master of playing all the major powers against each other for the benefit of his country.

Thanks, Michael. I think we could have gone another hour with the Q&A. She was truly enlightening.

I appreciated Karen Elliott House’s lecture & learning more about Saudi Arabia today. I did not mind the video performance. I just purchased “Behind the Kingdom’s Veil …” — Ms. House wrote the forward to this fairly current book. Dinner was delicious, as usual!

Excellent session by Karen Elliot House with in-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabia & MBS...the MBS strategic direction, his aggressive plan & the impact on Saudi neighbors and beyond.

Thanks, Nick. At just 37 years old, MBS will be interesting to follow for decades to come.

She is exceptionally knowledgeable on the subject of Saudi Arabia, and spoke eloquently. This is a most interesting topic of which the public should be more informed. Kindly invite her again in another year.

This was an excellent and thoughtful presentation by an obvious expert in her field. While it's always nice to have the speaker present in person, the video presentation was just fine. I would be happy to have at least some video presentations in future seasons if that would allow us to attract speakers who otherwise would not be available. Becky Kurtz was an excellent moderator, and the Q & A session was very informative.

Thought it went over very well. Think Karen had everyone’s attention even though she was not there in person. Becky also did a great job.
