To Our Valued Members, Students, and Sponsors,

It is difficult to recall a time when global events have felt so turbulent, with long-standing alliances shifting and the future of democracy increasingly in question.

Yet, we are simultaneously witnessing a period of unprecedented technological transformation. From AI-driven advancements that reshape how we live and work to the boundless promise of space exploration, innovations are capturing the collective imagination as never before.

At our World Affairs chapter, we do more than simply report on these events. Through our dinner and luncheon programs, we strive to bring clarity to these complex times, connecting our members with expert voices that challenge our perspectives and deepen our understanding of the world stage.

Our commitment extends to the next generation, who deserve the same depth of insight as they prepare to navigate this new era. Ensuring our students have the tools to interpret these changes is a vital investment in our future.

Our Academic WorldQuest Competition, now entering its 21st year, remains a cornerstone of our educational outreach, immersing students in global affairs and giving them a head start in understanding our rapidly evolving world. Our Career Pathways program brings WACD members into classrooms to share their career experiences, decisions, and lessons.

The remarkable impact we have seen this past year is a direct reflection of the dedication and loyalty of our current members. As we look to build on this strong foundation and welcome new voices to our mission, I want to express my heartfelt thanks for your continued support.

If you are considering joining the World Affairs Council, I invite you to embark on this path of exploration with us. By becoming a member, you contribute to a community dedicated to knowledge and civic engagement. We hope you will join us at our upcoming events and help us build a more informed and connected future, for both us and the coming generations.

With gratitude,

Jim
