Reflecting on a Stellar Year and Looking Ahead!

What an incredible year we had at the World Affairs Council of the Desert! The 2024/2025 season was truly exceptional, marked by a captivating lineup of speakers who enlightened us with their insights on critical global issues. Your enthusiastic participation in both our Headliner dinner and lunch events made each gathering a vibrant forum for discussion and connection. We're also immensely proud of the strong philanthropic support that powered our Academic WorldQuest program, making a real difference in the lives of local students.

Gearing Up for an Unforgettable 2025/2026 Season

The Board of Directors is excited for the upcoming 2025/2026 season! We're diligently working to create another roster of world-class speakers who will bring timely and thought-provoking perspectives. While we're still finalizing some details, you can get a sneak peek at the confirmed speakers and programs by visiting the Programs section of our website right now.

Academic WorldQuest: Celebrating 21 Years of Student Success

We're particularly thrilled to announce that our highly successful Academic WorldQuest educational program for local high schools is entering its 21st year! This flagship initiative, which fosters global literacy and critical thinking among our youth, will be expanding the number of participating teams, reaching even more bright young minds in our community. Your support directly contributes to the success of these future leaders.
